The final design for soil and sediment excavation/dredging at Terminal 117, an Early Action Area in the Lower Duwamish Waterway Superfund Site, has been completed. The design includes removal of soil and sediment to meet RvALs consitent with the larger LDW work, while protecting community health and water quality. Terminal 117 is located within the South Park Neighborhood adjacent to residences and a marina, and within a Tribal Usual and Accustomed fishing area. The removal action will begin next summer.
